This page will serve as a place where parents, families and students can find resources verified and endorsed by General McLane School District regarding COVID-19 for the 2022-2023 School Year. 


LECOM/GMSD vaccination clinic

General McLane School District is once again partnering with the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) to offer flu vaccines and COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters.

The clinic will be on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 4:30-7 p.m. at McKean Elementary School and is for anyone ages 5 and up. This clinic is open to anyone in the community.

Please use this form to sign up for the clinic. You will receive a confirmation email with your appointment time in it. Please use the rear entrance of McKean Elementary near the gym to access the clinic. There will be signs posted.

The clinic will vaccinate anyone ages 5-years of age and older for COVID and/or flu. The COVID initial series vaccines are available for 5-years and older but the bivalent booster for Pfizer is for those 12-years and older. Pfizer monovalent boosters may be given from 5-11-years.

Consent forms should be filled out as a single page (double-sided) for the Covid vaccines, the flu is only one page. LECOM will have plenty of extras available at the clinic. Consent forms can be found next to the specific vaccine listed above.

Please bring your COVID-19 vaccination card, insurance (if you have insurance) and a photo ID. For flu, LECOM runs an eligibility check on your insurance, so if you don’t have insurance, they will charge for flu shots. The pay rates are as follows:

There is no charge for COVID-19 vaccinations, regardless of insurance status.
