COVID-19 Health Updates
This page will be a resource for the General McLane School District community, families and parents that we will use to update with anything health-related pertaining to COVID-19 for the 2020-2021 school year.
If you have any questions about policies or information you see on this page, feel free to contact General McLane School District Assistant Pandemic Coordinator Kristen Donnelly at email@example.com, or call one of our four school nurses.
Mask up, McLane!

COVID-19 Crisis Counseling Program
We know that COVID-19 can feel overwhelming, especially to our students. Feel free to take advantage of this free COVID-19 PA Crisis Counseling Program. For a full PDF of this document, click here.
COVID-19 Daily Health Screening Tool
We will encourage parents, students and families to use this tool when deciding whether or not to send student(s) to school each day. We are asking for this screening to be done daily. For a full PDF of this document, click here.

Face Shields vs. Face Masks
We’ve had many parents ask if they are able to send their student(s) to school with a face shield instead of a face mask.
Our medical team, which includes our Assistant Pandemic Coordinator and school nurses, created this document to specify where General McLane stands on face coverings.
Full COVID-19 Checklist for Parents/Families (20-21 Year)
We realize this document is a little bit more confusing for parents to understand and a bit longer than our daily COVID-19 symptom checklist. We hope this will give parents a better explanation of our policy. (Updated on 8/24/20)
