Welcome to General McLane School District!

General McLane School District welcomes you to our community! We hope to make the enrollment process as easy as possible for both students and parents and are available to answer all of your questions.

Because we know how overwhelming the first year can be, General McLane School District has put together a New Family Resource Packet to help navigate you through the District. This packet provides information about General McLane and in particular focuses on information you may need or like to know in the first weeks of school.

Enrollment Procedure

Parents & guardians can pick up enrollment packets at the school or print off the electronic version below.

Please return all registration forms to Kristina Sonney, District Registrar, at Therese T. Walter Education Center. Please take the time to review your completed registration packet with Kristina Sonney and bring original documents for photocopying.

Kindergarten registration is due early so the school can plan effectively for the upcoming school year. Keep in mind that school offices will be closed or open on a very limited basis for summer. Parents are encouraged to submit their registration as soon as possible to avoid delays.

The District will be hosting an Orientation Program for new students / families to the District. Enrollment is required to attend these events.

Bus Requests – To request a bus pick-up or drop-off that varies from your home address, please visit the Transportation Department’s webpage. No bus request is needed if the home address is always the pick-up and drop-off location.
