General McLane School District welcomes you to our community! We hope to make the enrollment process as easy as possible for both students and parents and are available to answer all of your questions.
Enrollment Procedure
General McLane implements an electronic enrollment process. To begin the process, please complete the pre-registration form for each student by following the below link. This form captures brief demographic information. Once completed you will receive an e-mail with directions on creating a PowerSchool Parent Portal account and completing enrollment.

Once you have created, and verified, your PowerSchool Parent Portal account, navigate to Forms and then New Enrollment. Only the New Enrollment Forms will need to be completed at this time.
The following documentation is required and will be uploaded directly into your account. **Failure to provide any of the below documentation could delay enrollment.
1. One Proof of Date of Birth
- Birth Certificate
- Notarized statement of birthdate
- Physician’s document with date of birth listed
- Baptism Certificate
- Other – by approval
2. Two Proofs of Residency
- Lease or Deed
- Utility Bill or Utility Hook Up Notice
- Driver’s License
- Vehicle Registration
- Credit Card Statement
- Other – by approval
3. Proof of required immunizations or exemption certificate
Other collected information:
- Dental and physical exams based upon grade level
- Court or custody orders if applicable
- Parental/Guardian identification
