General McLane School District

School Security

One of General McLane School District’s highest priorities and main goals is to always keep students safe and secure.

General McLane School District has two School Police Officers, Officer Scott Adams and Officer Erin Froehlich. Officer Adams is the GMSD School Police Officer and Officer Froehlich is the Deputy School Police Officer.

Officer Adams is a retired Pennsylvania State Police officer with an extensive background in law enforcement, trainings/certifications, and current officer work in an educational setting (Gannon University). He primarily works at General McLane High School and at James W. Parker Middle School.

Officer Froehlich graduated from Mercyhurst University Police Academy in December, as she fulfills her career and personal goal of becoming a school resource officer and serving in a school setting for students and staff. Officer Froehlich works primarily in Edinboro Elementary School and McKean Elementary School. She is fondly referred to as “Officer Erin” by those students.
