Once clearances are on file with the General McLane School District they are valid for five (5) years from the date on which they were obtained.
TB test results must be administered within three months prior to the date the district receives the form.
Please be advised it can take up to 2-3 weeks to receive results for all clearances.

- If you plan on choosing the Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit #5 as your location to complete this, please be aware that this is a two-step process. You must register with the IU#5 and IdentoGo. Detailed instructions on the IU5 process are available here.
- NOTE: If you use the volunteer service code, GMSD cannot access your clearance using your UE ID number. You must print out a copy of the clearance to submit.
- Tuberculin (TB) Test Result:
- The results can be submitted on any form as long as it is from a licensed healthcare provider and includes your name, the date, and the TB Test reading.
- TB Test results must be administered within three months prior to the date the school receives the form.

Submit Clearances Appropriately
These items may be dropped off or mailed directly to your student’s building’s front office or sent directly to the Education Center (dropped off or mailed): 11771 Edinboro Road, Edinboro, PA 16412.
Please do not send in these clearances to your student’s teacher, as specific individuals need state-mandated training to handle clearances.
