Superintendent’s Office

In the General McLane School District, our mission is to “meet students where they are to empower them to become all they are capable of being.”

Meeting this mission is a daunting task, requiring support and effort from parents, district staff, community members and the students’ themselves.  Learning is the core of what we do and quality learning requires effort both on the part of the teacher and learner.

In our school district, we have many programs in place to help students learn.  If barriers to their learning are present, we also have programs to help break down those barriers.  This is all a complicated task that is made to look easy by the professional expertise of our staff.

It is our desire that our students get the best education possible and that we have a school system in which the community takes great pride.  I stand ready to maintain and improve the high quality for which General McLane is known.

Go Lancers!

Sincerely,

Richard Scaletta
