James W. Parker Middle School

James W. Parker Middle School, one of the best middle schools in Erie County, houses grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 in the General McLane School District. There are approximately 750 students in the school with approximately 60 professional and support staff serving the school community. Parker Middle School is one part of the General McLane School District. The district is also home to General McLane High School, Edinboro Elementary School and McKean Elementary School. Recently, the General McLane School District, one of the best schools in Erie County, PA, was named as one of the Top 100 Schools in the nation. A comparison of the per pupil expenditure and student performance on standardized tests uncovered the well deserved recognition for the School District. James W.
