General Information

General McLane High School uses an Intensive Model of scheduling known as Straight Block. Students are enrolled in four classes per day, each lasting 82 minutes. One-credit courses are completed in one semester (18 weeks) while half-credit courses are completed in one quarter (9 weeks).  The school year is two semesters, allowing students to earn 8 credits per school year.

Student Progress Reports and Report Cards

Students’ academic progress can be monitored online at powerschool.generalmclane.org/public anytime during the school year.

Report cards are printed only once and are mailed home at the end of the school year.  To view grades during the school year, please login to PowerSchool.  If you need a printed report card during the school year, please contact the guidance office at (814) 273-1033, ext. 1906.
